*Please read* Ok I've gotten some question in regards to my timing video, on timing, carbs, and some other stuff. So I made this video in regards to those questions. Mainly covering vacuum ports off of carbs, a little on timing, vacuum gauges, ect. . . S little bit of information on several things. Ok now the disclaimers ;) It was freezing out when I shot this vid, my shop lights won't work when it is below freezing unless I warm up the garage first, so it is a little dark. I tried not to let my teeth chatter, though my wife did call me half way through one video, we have like 6" of snow so far and it's only noonish so it is cold. Also if you don't like my advice don't follow it, I've got so much hate mail and mail telling me I'm wrong on my timing video it isn't funny. Oh yeah the breather thing I was talking about was a heat plate valve inside the breather, when it warmed up it opened letting in more air, it was connected my choke before I switched it from heat coil to manual on the old 305, I couldn't think of what it went to for a second. I was freezing and did go faster in this vid versus my timing one, any questions feel free to ask. Now a summary. Carbs, pcv valve, brake booster, and vac advance, really old cars maybot have brake booster, nor vac advance (some people do not use the vac advance, so three lines, the rest can be plugged up unless you have some smog control, or something "Special" you are adding to your engine. To drain coolant: 1. Cabin heat knob on hot, ignition key on start (engine off). Blower fan on low. 2. Remove coolant fill cap. Disconnect lower Radiator hose. Let coolant drain. 3. Remove accessories to access and remove thermostat. 4. Reassemble system and fill coolant mixture containing 50% water and 50% antifreeze. Start engine, heat on max with blower on, and keep filling coolant and squeezing hoses until coolant remains full at max mark. Parts of coolant system are: 1. Water pump 2. Thermostat 3. Radiator and Radiator Fan with Thermostatic switch 4. Hoses 5. Coolant reservoir / expansion tank 6. Pressure Cap 7. Heater Core (inside dash) 8. Antifreeze + Water = Coolant This thermostat opens at 190*F. Most Thermostats are 180 or 190*F. The Thermostat is fully open at 20*F higher than rated temperature. Every 1psi that pressure on water increases you get approximately 3*F rise in water's boiling point. Water boils at 212*F or 100*C at sea level air pressure or 0 psi gauge pressure.

From the author: This paper presents a temperature control method for air-handling units (AHUs) using a two-loop robust model predictive control (MPC). A two-loop robust MPC employs an inner-loop controller to ensure robust stability and an outer-loop controller to improve the control performance by taking uncertainties and constraints into account. A two-loop robust MPC with multiple overlapping operating modes is developed to deal with the control of systems associated with high nonlinearities. The basic idea is to separate the operating range of these systems into several operating modes such that the local systems in each operating mode suffer less from uncertainties. The overlapping operating modes are adopted in the control scheme to avoid the controller frequently switching among these operating modes. The control scheme is used to design a robust controller for a typical AHU. Simulation results are presented and compared with that of an anti-windup proportional-integral (PI) controller.
